so if you guys might know april is stress awareness month! perfect month for me right!!!
so today I am going to talk about dealing with stress and how stressed out I basically am, so ready lets go:
TEENAGERS: we get STRESSED out i mean we have a lot with on our plate with school and extracurriculars all with the added stress of hormones and the fleeting years before we become an adult, and if THAT isn’t enough we have college to look forward to.

so its finally april, which is going to be a VERY busy month! so I am excited for what I have in store for my blog 🙂 and what i have in store for my life that I can share on my blog!
so lets get started:
so the word that i picked for this month is
i picked aesthetic because its my current favorite word. the word aesthetic is a noun that according to google means “a set of principles underlying and guiding the work of a particular artist or artistic movement.” i use this word in explaining things that i like which i now say that they “go in my aesthetic” a sample of things that are in my aesthetic would be monogram necklaces, martha’s vineyard houses or bottega louie, and things not in my aesthetic would include tattoos, ripped jeans or muscle tees.
aesthetic is ALSO A ADJECTIVE! as an adjective it means “having a sense of the beautiful; characterized bya love of beauty.” how i will be using aesthetic? good question, i am planning on fixing my aesthetic, making sure that it match, as I want it to. I also want to be more thoughtful of other’s aesthetics, making sure i don’t focus on making other peoples aesthetics more like mine.

so I guess I have never said anything about this but I am a huge musical theatre nerd! like I LOVE LOVE LOVE listening to music from broadway musicals.
I assume you have heard of hamilton (first of all who hasn’t) and they recently won a grammy (and performed at the grammys)
but its a broadway musical about alexander hamilton, and its a rap musical! i know, i know it sounds lame, but I promise you its very good, and you can listen to its music below in my spotify playlist:

so tuesday i posted about how I am doing with yoga so far, so I decided that I wanted to post about my favorite yoga gear , so lets get started:
my mat:
Gaiam Citron Sundial Yoga Mat : This is a really comfortable mat, and you know its not as expensive as the mats from lululemon, but still really cute and still really nice without that hefty price.
my favorite shirts:
nike dry-fit cool strappy: very loose fitting, perfect fit, especially when it gets a little warm in the studio, its happens to just work perfectly for yoga even though its for running.
athleta fastest track tee : although I have this shirt in red, I love it so much! Its a perfect fit, just tight enough for you to able to move and twist well.
my favorite bottoms:
athleta sonar capri pants: so basically these are the best pants ever, since they are this sonar fabric, they are literally the best things known to man, never again buying different leggings, I have found my pair.
forever 21 active striped-side shorts: now some people hate doing yoga in shorts, i understand that, but sometimes its way too hot to deal with putting on and taking those leggings off when your legs are sweaty, these shorts are a great alternative.
