Summer Gift Guide for Girls

July 5, 2015

hey guys!

So I know summer isn’t really a gift giving season, but there are plenty of birthdays, and its harder to find gifts! here we go:

1. Shoes are always a good option! I like these Jack Rogers and these Heels. These are both very summery shoes, so they can practically open their gift and put them on!

2. Summery iPhone Cases are also great! I like these three (1) (2) (3) These are another one of those things that are perfect for summer, just open and put on your phone.

3. A Pretty Purse is such a good present! I like this Kate Spade Maisie Purse. This is just so pretty and summery.

4. Bangles and Bracelets tend to be a cheaper and really nice option for gifts! I like these ones from Stella and Dot (1) and Kate Spade (1) (2).

5. Athletic Shorts are also a great option for a Gift! I love these ones from Krass and Co. and They are just so easy to wear at home, and oh so comfortable! and for a bonus you will get 15% off when you follow this link and pick which shorts you want!

hope you all enjoyed this! comment if you like any of these gifts, or if you have any other gift ideas!

xoxo

Looks for Less #1

April 19, 2015

hey guys,

So I have been thinking recently how expensive preppy clothes are actually are. So here I am gonna share two examples of the looks for less, and how to earn money/where to buy preppy things for less $$.

The Look for Less-Lilly Dress

these two dresses are both Lilly Pulitzer. One is from Target, and the other is from Lilly Pulitzer. Obviously the one from Target is gonna be not as nice, and they are not the exact same print, but if you are going for something that really looks like Lilly for cheap, just buy the one from Target.

these two vests are basic puffer vests, one is from Patagonia and the other is from Mango. As along with the last one, the Mango one is not gonna be as nice, but this is still gonna be the look at you are going for!

Other tips for getting cheaper preppy clothes:

1. Just buy the basics, buy the things you need. If you don’t require a Kate Spade Purse, you do not need to buy one!

2. Buy Used Stuff. You can buy stuff from Poshmark , alot of people sell new things that they have never worn, but cannot return anymore.

3. Shop at factory stores and Nordstrom rack, you will find nice things that are “out of season.”

4. Take things that you already own, and buy the preppy acessories, to make your look more preppy.

thanks for reading guys! love y’all!

1. Mudslide Nourishing Hair Mask: This is from the Drybar collection at Sephora. At the Drybar for my formal, they used this on my hair. OMG it made my hair so smooth and so pretty! It stayed straight for awhile too! I then bought this from Sephora and started to use it at home! I love this! -$38

2. Hit Your Stride Skirt: This is a skirt from Lululemon. I own this for Golf. I wear it for practice, and sometimes for meets for Golf. I love this skirt! It has a pocket on the side where I carry extra pencils for games. I also sometimes carry anither score card, because I am known to lose those in my bag! -$64

3. Victoria’s Secret Body Wrap Top: This bikini top from Victoria’s secret is really cute! It comes in a whole bunch of colors too. The style is really nice and mimizes the size of your chest! Since there are alot of color options, it can pair with any of the bottoms. This is also nice to wear under a rash guard. -$38

4. Kate Spade “Break the Ice” Water Bottle: This is a really cute water bottle because it has a cute message on it. I love the colors together and the little saying! Oh my gosh! I just love Kate Spade too much I even need a water bottle. -$18

5. Wash Twill Whale Logo Hat: This is the cutest hat! I love this hat! Now that I am back playing Golf, this is nice to keep the sun back! My eyes are very light and I needed a nice hat like this to help me keep out the sun of my eyes! This hat is a nice hat, and the price is pretty good too! -$28

hope y’all enjoyed this post! If you enjoy any of the same things, please comment your review of these things!
