its after christmas and i aready have things that i want again! its crazy because the styles have definitely changed since december, not just in california too.
i am back to school and i wish i wasn’t, we are already 8 days through january and i can’t even bear to think about it.

Summer Sandals

hey all!
its far into summer now, and i felt like i haven’t done many summer style posts, and i have really been wanting to do one, so today i am sharing some cute summer leather sandals.
i have been REALLY liking these tan leather sandals because they are perfect to pair with shorts and different colored dresses and even a pair of black leggings. i’ve been doing my research to find cute summer sandals that aren’t too expensive.
so here we go:

  1. Lands End Laced Gladiator Sandals: $40, these lace up the whole leg, they would look great with some j.crew shorts or these ones that i love!
  2. Massimo Lavinia Slide Sandals: $20, these are a simple shoe FROM TARGET!!! that are just really cute, i love the detail in the front with the straps, and this would really look great with any white (or other colored) summer dress.
  3. Billabong Seaing Double Sandals: $45, i also LOVE these sandals from billabong, they are the perfect summer sandals, they could honestly be worn anywhere from beaches to the country club.
  4. Billabong Crossing Over Sandals: $30, these are perfect and i really love the white detail on it, it would be a perfect fit with a white dress or a little swim cover up.
  5. Jack Rogers ‘Maci’ Flat Sandal: $137, okay so these are a BIT more expensive!! they also jack rogers though, so it actually makes sense why they cost a little more then usual, but they are really cute and would be perfect for special more fancy occasions.
  6. Aeropostale Circle Perforated Flip-Flop: $8, i just think these are really simple and cheap. they are perfect casual shoes.
  7. Aeropostale Crochet Strap Flip-Flop: $13, i really LOVE the details on the straps, the simple white “crochet” (i guess) and i totally think that with a little t-shirt dress these shoes would really shine.
  8. Steve Madden DONDDI Sandals: $59, i really like the simplicity of these shoes, i think that the color is just perfect and screams “SUMMER” good to dress up or down, and i can attest to the quality of steve madden shoes, i absolutely love these!

spring break will soon be upon us! i am loving pastels for spring break, and although i don’t  even own every one of these essentials I AM IN LOVE with all of them, and i would totally want and use them for spring break!

jack rogers palm beach sandals – perfect for sunny california weather and adorable east coast towns

illesteva sunglasses – the blue goes perfect for spring, and it finishes a look by putting it together.

essie nail polishes 1 / 2 / 3 – perfect pinks for your mani to match your spring feeling!

tech 21 iphone case – perfect clear color to put your polaroids or keeping momentos or a little money

tory burch fitbit band – matches perfectly, and hides those ugly plastic fitbit bands, and still counts steps!

vineyard vines hat – perfect to keep the sun away, and a perfect pastel pink for cute instagram photos

supergoop sunscreen – for a pale girl like me sunscreen is always necessary, but especially when the california sun will be coming out!

#2: GABBY SHIFT DRESS from Lilly Pulitzer : this dress is just perfect for summer and this is just such a cute print!

#3: Monogram Necklace by Argento Vivo : this is just a preppy staple and its perfect for everyone to wear!

#4: Palm Beach Sandal by Jack Rogers : these are also perfect for spring and summer (especially in CA) and i love these colors together.

#5: Path of Life Bangle from alex and ani  : This is just such a simple nice little bracelet.

#6: Shep Shirt from Vineyard Vines : I love my step shirt, i just love it so much! it keeps me warm and i wear it all the time.

#7: skinny skinny jeans in pure white from madewell : every preppy girl needs  pair of white jeans, and the madewell jeans are so nice.

#8: Classic Aviators by Ray Bans : ray bans are so nice, and they are cute! I love the aviator style.

how to wear birkenstock sandals-the preppy way!

hey guys!

so as I have said before, I own a pair of birkenstocks, now people either love how these sandals look, or hate how they look, I personally love them! here are some cute ways to style birkenstocks!

here we go:

#1: The Preppy Way: You can pair birks with a cute sweater and a nice pair of pants. You can pair a oxford shirt with a sweater and jeans with white birks.

#2: The Casual Way: You can pair a cute pair of patterned flow-y shorts with a plain tee and birkenstocks for a cute casual outfit. You could also do a plain colored shorts with a patterned shirt.

#3: The Cute Way: You can go very plain, but very cute with this denim chambray shirt with these cute shorts!

#4: The Jeans Way: You can also go casual by pairing birkenstocks with boyfriend jeans! I like mine with the slim boyjean in kinsey wash from madewell.

#5 The Dress-y Way: You could also pair your birkenstocks with a dress. They are actually like super cute in this way.
