Happy School – My Bonus School Essentials

hey guys!

happy school! my school starts tomorrow and I am really sad its starting. but new school year means new good things and new bad things too, but anyway lets get started!

my bonus school essentials are stuff i like to keep in my locker, and stuff I love for the school year.

#1: Krass and Co Sailors Delight Shorts: I wear a uniform to school, but I play sports, and sometimes during free block I like to go down to the weight room to work out. I love keeping these in my locker and when you go through this link you get 15% off right now!

#2: Portable Phone Charger: These are a must! I know my teachers don’t like to see our phones plugged in around the room, so this is perfect. You just bring the cord for your phone and you can charge it with this!

#3: Five Star Mirror White Board Combo: This is an essential for my locker. It gives me that little reminder on the white board part and then on the mirror i get to see me! How nice!

#4: First Aid Kit: This is perfect for in your backpack. You never know when you’ll get a paper cut or you get a headache and need advil. This is also a perfect size for carrying around.

#5: Day Designer Gold Stripe Weekly/Monthly 6 x 8 Planner: A nice planner is always a must for school. I love this one especially because it has a to-do list and i just LOVE checking things off!

My Favorite Beauty Products

hey guys!

how have you guys been doing? i hope well! well anyway today I am gonna share with you all of my favorite beauty products. I don’t use them too much though because I don’t wear makeup everyday.

okay, well lets get started:

Diorskin Nude ® BB Creme: This product is one of my favorites. I got it in New York in 2013! And I am still on the same bottle. But anyway this product is the bomb and its so soft on my skin.

2. Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter: This is such a simple lovely hi lighter. Its easier than powder and its just so simple. I love the blender on the other side.

3. Mario Badescu Special Healing Powder: This powder is perfect, its so matte over makeup, but it also works over nothing just to be a nice color powder.

4. Benefit Boi-Ing Concealer: Okay I have raved after this concealer before, but I am seriously in love with it! Its by far my favorite beauty product of all time.

5. Clinique ‘Chubby Lash’ Fattening Mascara: This is a new mascara but I seriously love it. I have blue eyes so this blue mascara is like perfect for me. Its not too light so it just gives a perfect tint for my eyes.

6. It Brushes Your Superheroes Full-Size Travel Brush Set: The It brushes are seriously the softest brushes I’ve ever used. They aren’t too expensive and not too cheap, because they feel great. Another plus side to this set is that these are the best brushes for everything you would need (I mean its not a full set, but its close to it.)

7. LORAC ‘The Skinny Palette – Black’ Eyeshadow Palette: This palette is from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so its no longer available, but these are the best colors and lorac is such a nice brand!

My Back to School De-Stressers

hey guys!

i am about to start school in a few days and i wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite de-stressers!

okay lets get started!

#1: I listen to wave sounds (specifically this one!) and change my computer and iPad backgrounds (specifically this one below).

#2: Paint your nails. This one works for me! I use this as a well deserved break from your homework.

#3: Take a Walk. I usually like to go out with my dog and walk around in the neighborhood and destress. My dog is such a cute little guy he always brings up my spirit.

#4: Eat a healthy snack. I usually like to eat like peanut butter on something for that little boost of protein.

#5: Open the Window. Usually getting fresh air is helpful for de-stressing. Its actually really nice.

#6: Taking a deep breath in and out. Believe it or not, but this is actually very helpful and nice!

Dessert before Dinner

hey guys!

as you may (or may not) know i visited san francisco this past week. As part of my trip i visited colleges, but I also visited ice cream places every day of my trip.

here we go!

#1: bi-rite:

flavors tasted by me: blue bottle coffee almond chip and malted vanilla

flavors tasted by other family members (that i didn’t have): creme fraiche

review: this was by far the best place we tasted. the ice cream was so creamy and yummy! O.M.G. thats all i am saying.

#2: McConnells:

flavors tasted by me: turkish coffee and chocolate almond brittle

flavors tasted by other family members (that i didn’t have): eureka lemon and marionberrie, salted caramel, dutch chocolate and blueberries and cream.

review: this place is great! the flavors aren’t as “sure of themselves” compared to other places, but they have a lot of nice rich flavors.

#3: Doc Bernsteins:

flavors tasted by me: bubblegum

flavors tasted by other family members (that i didn’t have): cherry, chocolate

review: this place is just so nostalgic the flavors are very kiddish (in a good way)!

#4: Fentons:

flavors tasted by me: peach and green tea

flavors tasted by other family members (that i didn’t have): mocha royale

review: this place was very good, although the scoops were enormous. i was like “i could go for 2 scoops” and when it finally came i was like this is two baseballs! but the taste was really good.

#5: Humphry Slocombe:

flavors tasted by me: toast and jam and blue bottle vietmanese coffee

flavors tasted by other family members: n/a (we shared the two scoops)

review: flavors weren’t that good, definitely the flavor was not defined enough and not as tasty as we’d though it would be.

My July/Mid August Haul

hey guys!

i wanted to show you guys my haul from july to mid august because I went on trips and got some cool things

*in no way am I trying to brag about what i have and i bought these all by myself with money i earned for myself*

first I got stuff from the lululemon outlet in gilroy

I got the Pleat To Street Skirt II and the Flow Y Bra IV

then, this was the best buy! i found at my local nordstrom this shep shirt from VV. I found this on the sale rack and it ended up being $50 instead of $125!! what a deal!

these are the next things i purchased

the UO Flamingo Makeup Bag, Voluspa Macaron Mini Candle, and a Day Designer

the last things I got was the medium teddy bow case and this bangle from kate spade.

Confession of a Teenage Blogger

hey guys!

today I wanted to share with you guys a more personal(ish) article about myself.

so last October I started this blog wanting to display my writing and have fun with it. In October my schedule wasn’t as full involving school and extra-curriculars. It was in-between basketball and golf and I had just hurt my ankle so when I was at home, after school and had extra time I thought I would start the blog!

so since then its only been more work, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my blog and I love writing on it. It is such a blessing to have as many followers I have and to work with something that is my passion.

this year especially it is gonna be more difficult then before, I am doing an art program at my school, as well as honors classes and my sports. it will continue to be a separate job for me, but I love it and will continue!

Poppin Assorted Gel Ink Pens : These are really nice pens in cute colors, I love them.
G2 Gel Pens : These are the BEST PENS EVER, these are super nice and are such good quality.
Personalized Spiral Notebook with Monogram : this notebook is beautiful and well made.
UO Flamingo Makeup Bag : this is the best buy ever! i am using it for my pencil case first of all its $8 and its such good quality.
Monogram Vinyl Sticker : these are essential for putting on all notebooks to keep it personalized.

DIY Macaron Case

hey guys!

in my last post, The August Fab Five, I put on my list this phone case. Now I really like this phone case, and i thought I could do a dupe of it! so I did one, and I will show you how i did it .

this is the final product:

and heres how you do it,

you print these (the ones below) pictures out

and cut them out and place them in a clear case!

and you are done!

1. Poppin Assorted Zip Folios : these are just super cute for school (because its inevitable that school will start soon) !!

2. Fossil Sydney Satchel : this is an adorable purse, and i love the shape!

3. kate spade new york medium notebook : this is my favorite item, its a good size to jot notes on cute things i see when i am out or if i get a blog idea.

4. Macaron Phone Case : i mean obviously i LOVE macarons so this is a cute case i would love to have and (should make a diy of!)

5. Topshop Milo Split Back Sleeveless Top : i have this top in purple and just this color, *SWOON* its beautiful!
