hey all!
today i am bringing y’all a school related post because right now i can easily say that i am drowning in schoolwork, and the only thing that is saving me right now is pretty notes!
so i have mentioned many times before that i love pretty notes (here / here2 / here3/ here4 – just to mention a few of the times i have talked about notes, believe me, i have mentioned this more than four times)
so today, i wanted to share with you the two different ways i like to take notes!
so here we go!
way #1: NOTABILITY
so if y’all are unaware, notability is an app made for the iphone, ipad and mac computer that you can take notes with.
this is a super cool note taking app because you can draw using pens and highlighter with your fingers or with a stylus. this app allows you to input a pdf document that you can write on top or highlight without printing it. this has a really special environmentally friendly option because it doesn’t require you to print it to make any further notes (but you can also print it) and its super useful because you can erase on it and make notes and make it look perfect to use which is perfect for me.
although this app costs $4.99 (which is a really hefty cost for an app y’all know i wouldn’t buy an app more than .99$ unless it was a super special app)
way #2:
handmade notes!
handmade notes are kinda awesome guys! i mean you can get a ton of cute pens (which everyone loves AM I RIGHT?) also just writing on pens and paper is just much easier to control and its kinda nice to stay away from technology.
also a ton of my teachers do not allow me to use technology in class so pens and paper is so classic!
i hope you all enjoyed today!

hey all!
when you know what they say “The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.”
out well i LOVE spending time in my bullet journal. which i probably spend about an hour per week setting up or filling out.
do you know what a bullet journal is? well about six months ago i didn’t either well this is the cover of my bullet journal.
so basically in bullet journaling, you use an empty notebook and make a planner. i use a notebook called LEUCHTTURM1917. i absolutely love this notebook because it comes with page numbers and an index, so you can track your months and look back to pages if necessary.
sorry that these are such low-quality pictures, but here is what my weekly layout looks like. i layout my week, then use colorful washi tape to decorate. i typically buy my washi tape from target, paper source and maido. and i use STABILO pens in my planner, but i layout with muji pens.
here is my monthly layout. also for each month, i make a “spending log” where i track how much money i make or spend. i also make what is called a habit tracker where i track how many days in a month i slept 8 hours, or any habit that i would like to to better with.
sorry for the low quality pictures. i will share again soon how i make my bullet journal and how i write *(etc)
thanks for reading!

hey all!
so, since i officially go back to school in 4 days, i wanted to share with y’all my finishing touches for before school
my back to school finishing touches:
so its very important to plan some easy ways to make / buy some easy lunch foods to eat, so i picked out snacks and lunches! see the ones that i like.
planning snacks to DIY or buy:
peanut butter oat squares / oatmeal granola bars / chewy peanut butter granola bars / homemade fruit leathers
planning lunches to DIY:
microwave mac and cheese / freezer bean burritos / homemade spaghetti-ohs /
homemade hot pockets / sesame noodles
so some of my other last finishing touches include cleaning my adidas, in the article below it explains in steps how to clean your old shoes
how to clean adidas leather shoes
my next step would be loading all of my pens into my pencil case for school, at this point i also color coded my pens. i put labels on each of my pens that i need for taking certain notes.
my other finishing touches include packing my backpack and labeling all of my supplies. i bought monogram stickers from DavisVinylCreations on etsy. i absolutely love their product and would recommend these stickers to anyone!
hope you enjoy!
let me know about all your finishing touches for school!

- organize my essentials kit (advil, eye drops, mints/gum, hair ties/hair pins and lotion, etc.)

hey all!
how has your week been? of course, i have been getting ready for back to school!
so today, in my new back to school series i am sharing with y’all my back to school necessities. the stuff i have to have with me at school, my necessary items!
lets go!!
here are my essentials, ill go one by one
so first, here is my backpack:
L.L.Bean Deluxe Book Pack -$29 (on sale right now!) : I have had this backpack for many years now, I usually switch up my colors so this year i picked the color dahlia purple this year. I also had it monogrammed in the style “initial flared” a new style for me this year, but i absolutely love it!
here is my water bottle:
32 oz Wide Mouth Hydroflask -$39.95 : okay, so this water bottle is a little expensive, but it’s a REALLY GREAT WATER BOTTLE. it keeps cold up to 24 hours, and I’ve tested this, i brought it to all day girl scout camp and on an overnight and i didn’t open the bottle till the next morning and there were still large pieces of ice! so basically i just LOVE cold water!
and i have my iphone case and my pencil case!
i have a
iPhone 5 Battery Case , Maxboost Atomic S iPhone Charger For Apple iPhone 5s -$29 : this is a super iPhone charger case! on top of being super cute, it is super functional because it charges so well. so when you forget to charge your phone the night before school you still have access to your phone because of this case!
0.55 liter Really Useful Box – $2.99: this is just supposed to be a storage box, but it works terrifically as a storage box. it holds all of the pens that i need as well as some washi tape and some post-it note flags!
so all, that is pretty much it for my essentials!
i hope that you enjoy, if you have any school essentials please share it with me!

hey all!
so basically i love “back to school” im not so sure that i actually love going back to school, but i love fall, the back to school look and i am VERY excited to be back in my plaid everyday!
so i decided, since I LOVE back to school that I am going to do a series of back to school basically of my process, wishlist, todo list and many others!
I will be posting this speical series every sunday and thursday so basically just be watching out for special posts on this back to school theme!
so get ready for some great posts!

(aka kate wins!)
hey all!
so in my last post i mentioned that i have finals next week, i kinda feel like UGH, but at the same time i am ready for it to be summer
so i was watching a video from ASAP Science a few weeks ago about study tips and while watching i they mentioned that its not great to listen to music while studying.
and i was confused, i ALWAYS listen to music while studying (like the classical no lyric kind) and i thought it was helpful but i tested out last week and realized for me at least that no music worked better! WHO KNEW!! anyway if you want i implore you to at least try / try without music because turns out it can REALLY make a difference either way for y’all!
and i was like, easy maybe ill share with y’all how i study and i realized that would be a great idea so here we go:
so my first step is usually a info web or outline
i start with the title of my info in the middle and move out with the info, this is a good jumping off point for me, perfect for getting my info together and re-written!
then i tend to move to flashcards or quizlet
after that i tend to just move in to my “teach mode” i go on as if i was a teacher myself and verbally speak through my lesson to anyone (friend, classmate, mom, dad, sister, grandma, dog, etc.) anyone really who will listen!
anyway all! i hope that you enjoyed this is pretty much how i do my thang! if you have any ideas with me please FEEL FREE to share them in the comments section!
thanks!
xoxo
