spring break will soon be upon us! i am loving pastels for spring break, and although i don’t even own every one of these essentials I AM IN LOVE with all of them, and i would totally want and use them for spring break!

jack rogers palm beach sandals – perfect for sunny california weather and adorable east coast towns

illesteva sunglasses – the blue goes perfect for spring, and it finishes a look by putting it together.

essie nail polishes 1 / 2 / 3 – perfect pinks for your mani to match your spring feeling!

tech 21 iphone case – perfect clear color to put your polaroids or keeping momentos or a little money

tory burch fitbit band – matches perfectly, and hides those ugly plastic fitbit bands, and still counts steps!

vineyard vines hat – perfect to keep the sun away, and a perfect pastel pink for cute instagram photos

supergoop sunscreen – for a pale girl like me sunscreen is always necessary, but especially when the california sun will be coming out!

MEET TEDDY

hey guys!

so I just realized that I have never introduced you to my dog!

his name is teddy!

he is a miniature red poodle
who is 8 years old
he came to live with us when I was in 2nd grade
he is such a bud!
he has curly hair (he’s so soft incase you can’t tell) and makes me so happy!

so anyway, heres my bud, he’s such a cute dog and makes me so happy everyday!

How to Get Focused for Finals

hey guys!

I have finals next week, as you may or may not know 🙂 but I had have recent problems with getting focused into the finals that I am studying for, so I am putting together some of my tips from last year, and my tips from this year to help you guys get focused for finals! here we go:

Use Self Control to block Websites that Might Distract You: For example, I have now blocked Kate Spade, Netflix, Twitter, Instagram and Nordstrom from my computer so I don’t get distracted online browsing.
Take A 10 Minute Break Between Every Hour: I don’t know what works for you guys, but 10 minute breaks work for me. In these breaks, I have a snack, paint my nails, organize something in my room or read a fun book (aka not school books!). But my suggestion is to NEVER take a nap in that 10 minutes, because your 10 minute break will become much longer.
Use a Goal: My personal goal is to ace all of my finals, why? Because I want to buy myself a new pair of leggings, so all over my house I have printed out a picture of those leggings and are using them as inspiration to ace my finals, and if I don’t ace my finals I won’t buy myself the beautiful Black Sonar Tights from Athleta (personally their sonar leggings are the only ones I will buy from now on!)

Why Do I Blog?

hey guys!

how many times do I get this question? I get this question way too much, so today I wanted to explain to all of you guys why I blog!

let’s get started:

WHY? :

I blog so I can share my opinions, you guys must know it I mean I do so many reviews and I do posts about the things that I enjoy, and the things I think you will also enjoy!
I blog so I can use time wisely! I mean I plan my schedule to make sure I am leaving enough time for homework and my after school activities! It helps me stay on task knowing that I have to get something done, and I have a scheduled amount of time to do it in.
I blog because I like to write. Writing is a big passion for me, and if I can find a good platform to do it on, even better!
I blog because I love it! I honestly wouldn’t blog if I didn’t like it, I mean it’s gets long and sometimes very tedious but it’s honestly so much fun at the end of the day to see something that I work so much for looking good, and other people enjoying it!

Word of the Month!: Focus

I was inspired by Navy Striped Peonies to do a word of the month for every month starting in January! So for January I picked….

focus

i picked focus because up coming this month I have my finals, and I would like to focus on the positive stuff in my life instead of the negative parts of my life.

how will i try to be more focused this month?

i can become more focused by watching less netflix, using less social media and planning my time better.

Macarons and Marchesa Christmas Haul

hey guys!

today I am sharing some of my presents from christmas (the picture of these gifts is above!) I am sharing my favorites some of which I have already used!

so here we go!

in front of my tree christmas morning I received:

-an olive and june gift card :from my sister, and I am WAYYY too excited to use this to get my nails done, and i am excited for the bonding with my sister

–kate spade bow earrings :i actually got these on christmas eve to wear on christmas eve which I did, and I absolutely love them and I am wearing them to any friends birthday parties!

–stan smith pink adidas :right after I opened these bad boys I tried them on, and didn’t take them off all day! they are so comfortable and I thought they would be heavy but they aren’t so they are great!

–kate spade maise purse :FINALLY, to say the least I received this purse! I have wanted this purse for at least a year now, and now i have it! YAY! and i put my mini maise keychain on it! how adorable!

–starbucks macaron cup :this was my favorite gift this christmas! as macarons and marchesa herself I needed a macaron mug, and now I finally have one! I just love this cup (i have used it everyday now!)

Merry Christmas Eve + My Christmas Day Routine

hey guys!

merry christmas (eve)! this entire week I have been preparing for christmas by decorating and wrapping presents! now by christmas eve I finally feel ready for christmas!

so in this post, I am going to share my christmas day routine. here we go!

as a kid I woke up really early on christmas … not so much anymore! I probably wake up at like 8:30 (which is much later than what I would do as a child!) and make some cocoa with marshmallows to drink.

then I proceed to open gifts, and i completely tear everything up to open my gifts because I am so excited.

in the afternoon I cook with my dad to prepare christmas dinner, which every year we host at my house, and my dad makes different food every year (and this year we are making turkey with all the fixings!) but in the past we have made homemade ravioli and different homemade sauces.

in the evening my whole family comes over to my house to eat dinner and open the presents we have for each other!

and then I sleep because christmas is over 🙁
